MUD 1-C11

Output

Material sample tile is made with mud like residues from wastewater treatments (C11) - collected in the ceramic atelier of Pedro Santos in Porto, Portugal.

This tile is part of the MUD MATTERS project selected for the Porto Design Biennale 2023.
Starting with the raw material "mud" various recipes were developed involving different percentages of sewage sludge, ranging from 0% to 100% reuse.

• Portioning: 100ml of ceramic clay made with a composition of 40 % liquid porcelain (1) and 60% liquid mud like residues (C11)
