MUD C8-C9
Output
Material sample tile is made with mud - residues from wastewater treatments (C8) and industrial dedusting powder (C9), both waste materials are from the ceramic production from the factory Grestel S.A. in Vagos, Aveiro, Portugal.
This tile is part of the MUD MATTERS project selected for the Porto Design Biennale 2023.
Starting with the raw material "mud" various recipes were developed involving different percentages of sewage sludge, ranging from 0% to 100% reuse.
