Composition:
60% recycled cork with 40% natural pine tree resin.
This material samples is made out of recycled cork wine stoppers, collected collected by APCOR - Portuguese Cork Association - and ViniPortugal during the event ProWein - one of the largest wine fairs in Europe - in Düsseldorf in March 2023.
The binder is a pine tree resin - a fully natural, biodegradable, composite material. This gum rosin derivatives is produced by Pinopine based in Aveiro, Portugal.
